At the top you'll find that Team Magma has taken control of the mountain top. The mountain is actually a volcano you will realise. Team Aqua are battling with Team Magma up here and you'll notice Archie's Poochyena taking on three Magma goons at the same time.

Wow he must be strong. Go north-east and fight the three Magmas you encounter. Go over to the important-looking Magma member on the edge with the odd-looking machine and talk to the guy there. Physical and special attacks are explained in the Battling section. It's a dark type so do not use a psychic type. It also does sand attack which will lower your accuracy one level.

Try and beat as quickly as possible. Camerupt is the evolved form of Numel. After the fight both Team Magma and Team Aqua will retreat to where ever they make home. You can now continue your quest for the Hoenn gym badges.

Go south from here into Jagged Pass. With a name like that it sounds pretty dangerous! Before you go you can talk to the old lady standing near the exit to buy Lava Cookies.

There are a few trainers here so fight them all when you get to them. Mid-way through this area you will see a Team Magma member, engage him in combat. He has a Poochyena and a Numel. Beat him. Continue going down through this forest-like area and you'll come out near a new town, go west from here. If you have a space in your party you can talk to the woman standing near it to receive an egg. The egg hatches into a Wynaut which is the Pre-evolution of Wobbuffet.

But do go inside the herb shop and talk to the large man to get Charcol. An itme that powers up fire type attacks. You can now go in the fourth gym and fight the trainers. You have to step on the hot spings to navigate to the gym leader. Some hot springs will shoot you up to the next floor and others will suck you down into the floor below.

At the entrance, go in the hole to the left of the entrance. Walk right and then fight the trainer that pops out.

Go back down the hole. Now Jump down the pool to the north. Go down and left, then fight the two trainers in a double battle. Now jump in the most northern hole to the north-west. You can fight the two trainers in the holes right next to you.

Go north and the hole on the right has a trainer in it. Take the left hole. Go north from here and beat the trainer in the eastern hole. Now go up through the hole on the left. Here, beat the trainer in the top-right corner and then drop down the hole that is just below that. Of the three holes here, take the middle one and then the one in the bottom-right corner. Jump down the ledge and then jump into the final hole.

This is where the gym leader is. You can go back and heal and follow the steps again or fight her right away Slugma and Numel should go down pretty easy, you've seen them before in battle. Overheat also decreases SP. It's really slow so just keep hitting it with water gun. It has high defence so don't expect ground attacks to be better than your water gun.

After winning, take the reward and exit the gym by jumping down the ledge below you A great poison move that will badly poison a foe. The foe will loose more and more HP every turn. Don't waste this TM. Exit the Lavaridge gym and May will come out of the herb shop. Go-Goggles will let you enter the desert. Nicely done. Go into the desert on route It will increase their evasion beacuse of the sandstorm.

Also, be aware that Trapinch may have the Arena Trap ability. After you beat picknicker Becky, there's a hidden Rare Candy in the nearby rock. Go as south as you can to get TM37 Sandstorm. Near the southern entrance of the desert you may have seen a tower that appeared to be made out of sand, or something that looked like sand.

Don't panic if you don't see it. Just keep exiting and entering the desert until you can. To reach the fossil you must be going at top speed on your Mach Bike and then go over the cracks in the floor of the tower and also smash up some rocks. On the top floor you will have a choice of two fossils.

It's a case of which one you want first, if any, you can get the other fossil some time in the future When you've chosen it the Tower will sink into the sand along with the fossil you didn't take, seemingly lost forever.

So train up either in the desert or around and inside Meteor Falls. When your done , go back to Petalburg city. You can do this by going back to Mauville, then to Verdanturf, through the Rusturf Tunnel, then down through Rustboro city and Petalburg Woods. But why on Earth are we going back to Petalburg city???? This is where the fith gym is, the fith gym is also Norman, your father's gym. There several rooms in here each with their own speciallised trainer. From the entrance you can either go in the Accuracy Room or Speed Room.

The accuracy room trainer will use a Delcatty. It's the evolved form of Skitty and pretty easy to beat. The Speed Room uses a Swellow, the evolved form of Taillow so not much difficulty there, just use a rock attack if you have it. These are all using normal types and they aren't that hard to beat. Virgoroth is the evolved form of Slakoth. Use special attacks since its SP. Zangoose we've met before so beat that. Now, go and heal up and then challenge Norman.

It's pretty weak though so you can probably beat it quite easily. Linoone, the evolved form of Zigzagoon, is fairly strong so do what you can against it. Where have you heard that before? Facade's power will double so it becomes a power normal type.

Slaking can completely murder your party. You can use its Truant ability to your advantage by doing only weak-ish attacks or using a stat-boosting move during its Truant then unleash your strong attacks the next turn. After winning you'll get your reward, if you have a normal type on your team that you are definitely keeping you should teach it Facade.

He thanks you for helping Wally out and gives you HM03 Surf. Now that you can surf you have many options: -You can go to Dewford Hall in Dewford Town and speak to the facing the door. He will give you TM36 Sludge Bomb. If for some reson you can't find him, just talk to everyone. Good exp.

You can explore some of this ship but you will need to come back later to do the whole thing. On the ship, if you look around you can find the Storage Key and then the the storage room you can get a nice TM13 Ice Beam. If you want some fast exp. I reccomend doing all four and in that order. When your ready, heal up and then go to Mauville City. In Mauville, go west then use surf to travel across the water.

If you've had your fair share of errands for now you can come back later, although the reward is TM24 Thunderbolt. It's a power electric move, one of the best. Here's how to do it: Wattson will give you a key that will open the door to this area. He wants you to shut down the generator in New Mauville because its been acting up. Surf down from Mauville and then go right underneath the cycling road to find a little island with an entrance. Go inside and then unlock the doors inside.

Step on the second switch you see and continue along the path. When you get to a third switch avoid it. Pick up the escape rope when you get to it. Go down and right. Grab the Ultra Ball and then go back to where you got the Escape Rope now step on the switch. Keep going left. You will come to two items on the floor.

The one on the right is a Parlyz Heal and the other is a Lvl 25 Voltorb. Keep going in this direction. You'll come to another pair of items, take the Full Heal on the right and step on the switch it uncovers. Go right and step on the red switch to turn off the generator and then take the Thunderstone. Use the Escape Rope now to return outside. Go back and talk to Wattson to receive a TM24 Thunderbolt. Continue on your quest.

Surf across the water and you'll come out on a sandy area. Talk to the other Fisherman on the beach to get a Good Rod. This is an improved verison of your Old Rod. Go onward and you'll bump into a familiar face. It's Steven! Talk to him then continue. This ability changes Kecleon's type during battle to whatever type was used last. Beat the two Bird Keepers here and then continue right. Fight the two trainers here, you can get a double battle if your quick enough.

Fire or flying for Pinsir. Go further right and then up to find a house. Go in to obtain two free berries each and every day from the man called 'The Berry Master'. The woman sitting with him will give you another berry, if you say the right things to her. You can get the Spelon Berry straight away though so do so.

Once you get a berry form here you will NOT be able to get it again so don't misplace it. Beat the trainer to the left of this place then grab all the berries here. Lots of 'em I know.

Beat the twins to the very right of the route. Beautifly and Dustox are both bug type, waste them. Return to where the Bird Keepers were and then go north. As soon as you enter you will notice the unusually long grass in this area. You can't ride your bike through grass like this, so you have to dismount.

It will also rain in this area so you get an automatic rainfall effect during battle. Go round and beat all these guys. They are the ever-worsening-in-power trainers known to all as Bug Catchers. Continue going north, if you like surf across the water to beat a Fisherman. Go north and beat the PKMN ranger who uses grass type.

Keep going north and there are more trainers for you up ahead. At the very top of the route you'll find a huge building. Go right and- Hey, its Team Aqua blocking our passage to the next city.

I'll give you three chances to guess where we go next. Enter the building you just passed. You'll find that it is actually the Weather Institute and its full of Team Aqua scum. The Admin Shelly at the end has a Mightyena. After beating the guys on the first floor go up the stairs then beat everyone on the second floor.

After beating Shelly, the scientist will give you a Castform. Like Kecleon, it has a unique ability. It's ability will make it change its type and appearence depending on the weather. Take off its hold item which is a Mystic Water. This item powers up water type moves. Now head out and go east along the bridge. When you're on land, go north.

May will challenge you to a battle. For Lombres use a flying or poison type attack. For pelliper use electric attacks.

Just Surf that foo'. Combusken can be taken out with a flying it's part fighting type ,water or ground attack. Grovyle can be hit with a flying, fire, poison or bug attack to faint it. May will reward you with HM02 Fly.

You cannot use it to fly around yet though. After the battle Scott will arrive from the north and congratulate you on your impressive victory. After his chatter continue north, beat all the trainers up here. There are two Ninja Boys and a Guitarist. Grab the berries to the east of the final Ninja and then continue right into Fortree City. Hyper potions are a step up from Super Potions so buy some if you like.

The furniture shop is in the south-east of the city. It sells furniture to put in your Secret Base See that section for more info. On the north bridge in the city you you will see the path that goes to the gym.

Oh wait there's something blocking the path. So we can't go there yet. Heal up and buy anything you need and then head out of the eastern exit. Beat the Parasol Lady who uses a Roselia and a Wailmer. Keep going east and then beat the Interviewers, again.

Go south a bit through the tall grass and fight the Bird Keeper. Go across the bridge and you'll bump into an old friend. After the conversation, Steven will give you a nifty gadget called the Devon Scope.

The invisible object is actually a Kecleon. It's at level 30 and you can either catch it or faint it. To beat it is fairly easy. Ghost is super effective against Ghost! After this fight you will obtain the Devon Scope and then Steven will fly away. Now go back to Fortree City. On your way there you can go through the tall grass by Robert and then go down to the water. Reveal the Kecleon standing near the gym then go inside.

You probably won't need a whole lot of training for this gym as her highest is only 2 levels more than that of Norman's Slaking. In Winona's gym you must walk through the revolving doors to get to her. Most of them are easy to get through but a few require a short amount of effort.

Firstly, go through the door on your left. Keep going around the path through the doors and fighting all the Bird Keepers. On one or two doors you will have to get passed them by first putting one in a specific position and then walking round and going through it.

It shouldn't be too hard to do though. In the top-right part of the gym you will find the Gym Leader. Commence Battle.

Zap it with Thunderbolt or any other electric attack. Skarmory is partly steel so fire attacks are the best you can do. Did someone order an Ice Beam? She will use Arial Ace. It never misses so no use lowering accuracy. After this easy match, take your rewards. You should teach Arial Ace to something your going to keep.

Go out and heal up. She will give you an Amulet Coin. Definitely worth having. Fly to Rustboro City and head through the northern exit. Go to the left of this route, which is Route , and then surf as far north as you can. Get back on to dry land at the top and then fight all the trainers in this area. In the north-east corner there are some Kelpsy berries, pick them.

You also find wild Swellow. Then surf west to the Abandoned Ship. If you like, you can surf around every bit of water you remember and get all the items that you couldn't reach. Similarly, now that your Match Call will actually get you trainer battles you won't need to fight many trainers. Well, that's the end of this short part. Go west from Fortree City and then down. Fight all the trainers that you come across. When you get the the area with the tall grass there is a Kecleon blocking the path, but you can just go through the grass if you can't be bothered to deal with it right now.

When you get to the bottom and you can't go down anymore, talk to the girl to get a berry. The berry you get depends on your ID Number. Then go up the stairs and pick the berries here. Surf across the water for an item. Continue going west and fight the two trainers. NOTE: Duskull is a ghost type. Go further on slightly and you'll be in Route Keep going right and you'll see some Aqua goons. Now, we should follow them but first we have to take a small detour. Continue east, fight the SR.

That building there is the Safari Zone but you can't get in there yet. Carry on going east. Fight the rest of the trainers in this route. There's a tree to cut here. Head east and you will arrive in the next city. Go east and then go north and right. You will see the Dept.

Store, every trainer's one stop shop for everything, but somebody has the nerve, no, the guts to block the door. No one shall stand in the way of you and the Dept. Fight May! Slugma is a fire so use your water attacks. Store sales on TV's around Hoenn. The sale will sell loads of cool things for your secret base. See that section for more info.

Whole lotta' stuff to buy here. You decide you want to leave your hometown to become the best trainer you can be, but then professor Ivan is under attack by Team Mirage members.

Team Mirage is a very mysterious gang. Not much is known about them, only that they are bad and planning something big for the region. Stopping them and finding out what they are up to is your main quest while encountering, battling and catching Pokemon from GEN 4 and 5. The English grammar is off a bit, but the story and graphics make this one a very fun and engaging experience. The earliest game dated all the way back to All games have stories that connect to one another and should be played in the correct order.

They are all pretty good and interesting, a worthy series to try out. Best to check out the link below to get the full scoop about these. There are too many high lights to talk about, and this is just a top list :D.

Many improvements have been implemented in the Johto Region. Some special touches like gym leaders offering rematches are cool and new characters, sprites, places, and music are all done well. The story is pretty cool also, but a bit everywhere.

This zombie plague is spreading fast. You and Prof. Birch are on a quest to find your brother and Prof. You will encounter new areas like the hidden Meathouse, the maddening Island and Hoenn University of Film. The zombie story is told well and the theme is executed brilliantly. I freaked out when I first encountered a zombie Pikachu lol. There are difficulty spikes, so be sure to level grind often.

Play as a young trainer from Veeper town of Fochun, who is on a journey to collect badges. Team Karma is the group standing in your way. A lot of new little touches in this one stand out like audio, wonder trading and new custom and existing items. Gotta Love The Fakemons! In Pokemon Sweet, you will start out in a region that looks like Kanto but made entirely out of candy and sweets. This hack is unique in every way. This game is all about exploring, finding hidden items and capturing.

You will be rewarded for your efforts in very sweet ways :D. I ranked this one so high because it was enjoyable and had a unique theme with some new gameplay elements. People and rivals are all about the sweets here in Kanto now.

Jam-packed with many new improvements, extra events and a brand new region known as the Orange Islands. All original events are included plus the extras. The main features and additions to this version include updated graphics and maps, real-time Day and Night, new music, weather effects, New region Orange Islands , new hidden areas and new gameplay elements.

Many Pokemon gamers consider these to be some of the best hacks around. For others, they are a turn off because of the difficulty level. They are a bit challenging, it just means you have to level grind more and choose your fights a bit more carefully.

These games are large. If you enjoyed playing this, then you can find similar games in the gba games category. Pokemon Moon Emerald game is from the various retro games on the site, and there are more games like this, including Pokemon X and Y, Moonwalker and Pokemon Emerald Version. Pokemon Mega Emerald X and Y Edition is not an ordinary rom hack, thus a game that came from Pokemon Emerald; it is more enhanced and integrated with the features mostly found in Pokemon X and Y game.
